Philips Lumea Prestige IPL hair removal device BRI950/00
🔌 Worldwide Voltage Compatible: This device operates on 100–240V — no voltage converter or step-up transformer required. Works straight out of the box in the UK, EU, US, and worldwide. A plug adapter may be needed outside the UK. Philips Lumea Prestige BRI950/00 – The Gold Standard in At-Home IPL Hair Removal The Philips Lumea Prestige BRI950/00 sits at the top of the at-home IPL category for good reason: it's the only cordless IPL device in its class, delivering the freedom to treat any body area — including hard-to-reach places — without a cable getting in the way. Combine that with SenseIQ technology for personalised treatment, four specialist attachments for every area of the body and face, and clinical evidence of up to 92% hair reduction after three treatments, and you have the most complete at-home hair removal solution available. This is the device dermatologists helped create. Philips developed the Lumea Prestige in close collaboration with skin specialists and tested it on thousands of participants — the clinical data behind it isn't marketing, it's evidence-based performance. Why Cordless Changes Everything Every other IPL device on the market — including the Lumea 8000 Series — requires a power cord during use. The Lumea Prestige is different. Its rechargeable battery system allows fully cordless operation, meaning you can sit anywhere, rotate the device in any direction, reach behind your knees, treat your bikini line without manoeuvring around a cable, or lie down while treating without any restriction. It's a genuinely different experience — and for many users, it's the deciding factor. The Prestige can also be used corded if you prefer to keep it charging during a session, giving you the best of both worlds. SenseIQ: Personalised Treatment, Automatically The SmartSkin sensor continuously reads your skin tone and recommends the optimal light intensity before each session. The four intelligent attachments go further — when you click on the body attachment, the device automatically applies a programme calibrated for large body areas. When you switch to the face attachment, it adjusts for the more delicate skin of the upper lip, chin, and jawline. Treatment that adapts to you, not the other way around. Key Features & Benefits Fully Cordless IPL — Unique in Its Class: The only IPL device with both cordless and corded operation. Treat anywhere in your home, in any position, without cables restricting your movement. 4 Specialist Attachments for Complete Coverage: Body attachment (4.1 cm², convex curved for legs/arms/stomach), Precision face attachment (2 cm² with integrated extra UV filter for upper lip, chin, jawline), Bikini area attachment, and Underarm attachment — each triggering a tailored treatment programme automatically. SenseIQ Technology with SmartSkin Sensor: Reads your skin tone and indicates the most comfortable, effective light setting for each area. Prevents treatment outside safe parameters automatically. 5 Adjustable Light Settings: Full manual control alongside the SmartSkin guidance for experienced users who want precise customisation. Up to 92% Hair Reduction After 3 Treatments: Clinical evidence of dramatic hair reduction from the third treatment, with results continuing to improve through the complete course. 250,000+ High-Performance Lamp Flashes: Enough for years of full-body treatment with no replacement lamp needed. Philips Lumea IPL App: Free coaching app with personalised treatment scheduling, step-by-step session guidance, and progress tracking — downloaded by over 2.1 million users. 83% of Women Satisfied with Leg Hair Reduction; 84% with Facial Hair Reduction: Consumer satisfaction data across real-world use — not just laboratory conditions. Included Luxury Pouch: The Lumea Prestige comes with a premium storage pouch, making it as elegant to store as it is to use. Four Attachments, Four Body Areas — Here's What Each Does Body Attachment (4.1 cm²): The largest window in the range. Curved inward design maximises skin contact on rounded surfaces. Ideal for legs, arms, stomach, and armpits. Fast, efficient coverage of large areas. Face Attachment (2 cm²): Small, flat window with an integrated extra UV filter. Designed for the delicate skin of the upper lip, chin, and jawline. The additional filter provides an extra layer of protection for sensitive facial areas. Bikini Attachment: Shaped specifically for the contours of the bikini area, with a treatment programme calibrated for this sensitive zone. Precision Attachment: For targeted treatment on smaller areas and detail work where the full body attachment would be too large. Treatment Schedule Start with four fortnightly treatments (once every two weeks). Clinical studies show most users see up to 92% hair reduction after three sessions. After the initial four treatments, move to monthly touch-up sessions. After a complete course, many Lumea Prestige users report going three to six months between touch-ups — making it one of the most low-maintenance long-term solutions available. Lumea Prestige vs Lumea 8000 Series — Key Differences The Lumea 8000 Series is a strong corded device with SenseIQ. The Prestige adds cordless freedom, four specialist attachments (vs one), a dedicated face and bikini attachment, and the premium storage experience. If you want the most complete, versatile, and convenient at-home IPL system, the Prestige is the clear choice.
